About

At Kimelo, we understand the unique challenges faced by foodservice distributors.

Born from our experience as former distributors, we’ve built an AI-powered eCommerce platform designed to streamline every aspect of the distribution process, helping distributors save time, cut costs, and drive growth.

Our Story

Kimelo started as a tech-enabled food distributor, giving us an inside look at the challenges the foodservice industry faces every day. With
razor-thin margins, unpredictable customer demands, and the constant pressure to stay competitive, we knew there had to be a better way.
Our journey began with this firsthand experience, which fueled our passion to develop technology that could help not just us, but the entire
foodservice ecosystem—distributors, wholesalers, and their customers.

In 2015, we launched our first e-commerce app, followed by digital advertising, routing software, a driver’s app, and an AI-enabled platform.
These innovations were designed to bridge the digital gap and streamline order management, allowing distributors to deliver the right
products with greater efficiency and profitability.

Today, as Kimelo, we continue to focus on developing solutions for distributors, manufacturers, and their partners. Our mission is to provide tools that help foodservice businesses thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure industry, while also paving the way for a more sustainable future.
